Justin and Lain, the Archipaddlo crew, are extremely grateful for the support and generosity of our sponsors. These companies have taken the risk to support our bold expedition and without their assistance the Archipaddlo expedition would never even be able to get off the beach.
We are proud to represent all our sponsors and we'll remember their generous support when we are relying on their gear to make Archipaddlo a success.
Since 1988, the Australian Geographic Society has been supporting Australian adventurers in all of their wildly different pursuits. To date over $8,000,000 has been donated to AGS sponsored adventures, scientific and environmental research, and community projects.
Justin and Alaina of Archipaddlo are extremely proud to be sponsored by the Australian Geographic Society. We recognise that without the Society's support, Archipaddlo could not push the boundaries of adventure nearly as far.

Sea To Summit has been creating truly innovative, well made and affordable outdoor and adventure equipment for over 20 years. Sea To Summit's origins date back to Tim Macartney-Snape's historic 1990 summit of Everest when he became the first person to truly climb the full 8850m from sea to summit.
Sea to Summit's generous support for the Archipaddlo Expedition includes keeping all of our gear dry with a great range of innovative dry sacks, stuff sacks and equipment pouches. Sea to Summit is keeping us clean, with Wilderness Wash, a clothesline, shower, trash sack, towels - even a kitchen sink! We have water storage with Sea To Summit Pack Taps, and folding buckets, and we'll sleep comfortably in our silk-cotton liners, Reactor bags with our travel pillows. We even have Sea To Summit shopping bags and backpacks to carry our coconuts back to camp, and then cutlery and crockery to eat them with. Sea To Summit is even keeping the tropical sun from burning our noses with a couple of different hat styles.
For a huge range of awesome gear, for basically every outdoor pursuit from the sea to the summit, you really should check out Sea to Summit's website: www.seatosummit.com.au
Solution (by Sea To Summit) is Australia's premier supplier of spray decks and paddling accessories. Juz and Lain have been paddling with Solution Lithium carbon wing paddles for the last 4 years, and all our spraydecks, pumps, tie-downs, wheels and even paddling clothing is all from Solution. We are hugely proud to be flying the Solution flag for the Archipaddlo Expedition as we firmly believe in the quality and durability of the Solution products. In fact we wouldn't be happy trusting such a critical part of Archipaddlo's equipment list to anybody else.
We are using Solution Helium Carbon paddles, bilge pumps, paddle leashes and spray covers. Our hands will be protected from the sun (and perhaps a few blisters) with Solution gloves. Solution are even helping to get our kayaks to Cairns to begin the expedition, with soft traveller roof racks and cockpit covers. Our Solution Access Deck Bags will be our emergency grab-bag for our most critical survival equipment.
If you paddle, get serious and get yourself some Solution gear! www.solutiongear.com.au
GME is proudly an Australian company and an innovative world leader in radio communication technology and radio frequency based product design.
The marine electronics products from GME will help to keep the Archipaddlo expedition connected to the world and, should anything go seriously wrong, we'll be relying on the GME personal locator beacons PLBs to help pull us out of trouble.

Perhaps better known for their innovation in the climbing and snowsports industries, Black Diamond have a massive range of equipment for adventurous pursuits in the outdoors. During the Archipaddlo Expedition Black Diamond gear is literally going to help us see where we are going. We are relying on Black Diamond headlamps and a lantern for our campsite - let's hope they don't attract crocodiles!
Black Diamond also produce a comprehensive range of lightweight hiking tents. From steamy hot nights and topical thunderstorms, to sand-fly filled swamps, our Black Diamond Tent will keep us dry and safe from the elements and the armies of insects that have already subscribed to this blog so they know exactly where to find us.
The range of Black Diamond gear is absolutely huge and the quality is exceptional - check it all out here: www.blackdiamondequipment.com
Pacific Outdoor Equipment manufacture extremely high quality products for paddling and biking as well as packs and innovative mattresses for just about anybody in the outdoors.
When we are scratching over the charts wondering which deserted island to pull up on for the evening, we'll be staring through our Pacific Outdoor Equipment map cases. When we get there we'll comfortably relax on out POE chairs and when we're done we'll kick back on our Pacific Outdoor Equipment mattresses for a long and comfy night's rest. In the (hopefully) unlikely event that we are capsized, it is our Pacific Outdoor Equipment paddle floats that will help us get back in the boats.

Wilderness Equipment have been making quality backpacks since the seventies and represent the pinnacle of excellence in the design of rugged, sensible products for the outdoors.
One of the most significant issues for the Archipaddlo Expedition (as for anyone) is making sure we have enough fresh water. We'll be using the Wilderness Equipment Overhang Tarps not only to keep the weather away but to catch the rain whenever it falls. We'll be using WE Overhangs as the shelter for the hammocks that Juz is customising for this expedition.
We are extremely proud to wave the flag for Wilderness Equipment and to have the opportunity to use such prestigious products throughout the Archipaddlo Expedition.

Pacific Action Sails were developed by kayak enthusiasts to enhance the paddling experience. The sail of choice for adventure racing and expeditions, they have assisted adventurers to reach the north pole, they've been included as essential gear for long haul expeditions all around the world, and have made trans ocean crossings.
Justin and Alaina see that Pacific Action Sails are critical equipment for the Archipaddlo expedition and we'll be relying on our sails to help us cover over 8000km during the Archipaddlo expedition.

Juz has dreadlocks that sit half way down his back - perhaps not the most practical hair style for a year paddling around in sweaty tropical heat. Thank goodness for our Buff Headwear®. Buff creates extremely comfortable, practical and functional headwear for a range of different situations, including tropical humidity.
We'll be using the versatile High UV Buff Headwear® along with the reversible Evo 2 Buff Visors to keep the sun off our skin and the wind out of our hair. The Buff® gear is the perfect solution to taming wild dreadlocks - and all in colourful style.
Check out the Buff Headwear® gear here: http://www.buff.com.au/
